So Wing-yee Delivers Dominant Performance as Red Goat Defends Overall Team Title

The “UJR World Series 2026 (Hong Kong China)” concluded successfully over two days at Kowloon City Plaza. Returning to a major shopping mall for the second consecutive year, the event drew nearly a thousand spectators and generated an electrifying atmosphere. Hong Kong women’s team captain So Wing-yee delivered a commanding performance, securing three golds and one silver, and led Red Goat to defend the Overall Team Title with 121 points.

So Wing-yee contributed 90 points to team for the Win

In the highly anticipated Women’s Individual Freestyle event, Hong Kong captain So Wing-yee, representing Red Goat, faced an early challenge in Round 1 from So Tsz-yau, who executed multiple high-difficulty moves including the “Round-off back-handspring to backflip.” So Wing-yee prevailed with a smoother performance, winning 117–112. She then defeated Yu Qiao-cheng 118–95 in the following round, before overcoming teammate Yu Ka-lam 105–96 in the final to claim the title.

So went on to win gold in the Women’s Individual Speed and Team Show events, along with a silver in the Double Dutch Fusion. She also made a rotational appearance in the 1×60 Double Dutch Speed semi-finals, allowing teammate Chik Pun-hei to conserve energy — Chik would go on to win gold in the final. So Wing-yee alone contributed 90 points to Red Goat, making her the driving force behind their Overall Team Title defence.

Ho Kin-hei Wins Men's Speed Title After Double Overtime Thriller

The Men’s Individual Speed event delivered equal drama. In the final, Ho Kin-hei initially thought he had won with a score of 98, only for the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) to confirm Ho Tsz-hei had also scored 98, forcing a tie and an overtime rematch. The first overtime saw both athletes deadlocked again at 103–103. Red Goat exercised their one-time challenge right to request a video review, but the appeal was unsuccessful and the original result stood. The competition proceeded to a second overtime, where Ho Kin-hei finally triumphed 104–103.

In the final against Chu Chun-hei, the newly crowned Most Improved Male Athlete, Cheung unveiled high-difficulty moves including the “Round-Off backflip TJ” and “back handspring bunny hop” for the first time, once again winning by just one point to secure the title.
